What is the point of PGCE without QTS?

To teach in UK schools, you must have qualified teacher status, or QTS, as required by law. However, you can still teach in England after completing your PGCE. Indeed, obtaining a PGCE broadens your horizons and permits you to teach in England and abroad. Therefore, you can still teach in English schools and easily enroll in a PGCE without enrolling in the QTS. The PGCE Written Assignments for the PGCE are much more challenging and help you prepare for the real world. I am therefore only able to teach in the UK using QTS, but PGCE is accepted all over the world.
